How to delete your account

1. Withdraw any remaining wallet balance to your bank account, and wait for pending trades and withdrawals to finish. An account with a balance or open items cannot be deleted until they are settled.
2. In the PaySphere app, open Profile and tap Delete Account, then confirm. Your account is disabled immediately and your personal details are removed as described below.
3. No longer have the app, or cannot sign in? Email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify it is you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account is disabled and can no longer sign in
• Your name, phone number, and the BVN-verified name and masked BVN on your profile
• Your saved bank accounts, your wallet record, and your push-notification token

What we keep, and for how long

• Transaction, trade and withdrawal records, together with your sign-in email, support chat messages and images attached to your trades. We keep these for up to 7 years after account closure, as required for financial record-keeping, and do not use them for anything else.
• Records we are legally required to retain or must keep to resolve a dispute or investigate fraud.
